With COVID impacting so many families and communities across the country, this special report outlines how parents and communities can look to support our young people so that they can thrive through these challenging times. Dr Michael Carr-Gregg references Werner and Smith’s study which showed us that resiliency, especially the protective factors that facilitate it – can be developed throughout our lifetime. This report outlines the common protective factors that can be used to nurture our children through adversity to ensure they are well equipped to make the most of every opportunity presented to them in the future.
